Our Core Beliefs
S.T.Y.L.E. Mentoring combines relationship-centred coaching with structured wellbeing support, linking emotional regulation to daily life, fitness and teamwork. Unlike services that focus only on behaviour or academics, S.T.Y.L.E. Mentoring develops confidence, motivation and purpose through consistent, trusted relationships.

Empowerment Through Support
We believe that every person has the potential to succeed. By providing tailored guidance and support, we help them build confidence, resilience, and self-belief, enabling them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Building Strong Relationships
We believe that genuine, trusting relationships are key to personal growth. By fostering meaningful connections with mentees, we create a safe and supportive environment where they can express themselves, learn, and thrive.

Nurturing Individual Strengths
We believe in focusing on each person's unique qualities and strengths. By recognising and celebrating their individuality, we help them develop the skills and mindset needed to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and determination.

Our Director
Michael Spencer
I have spent more than 25 years working with young people and families across education, sport and social care. For 16 of those years, I worked within Blackburn with Darwen Children’s Services, progressing to Deputy Team Manager and leading teams supporting children with disabilities, behavioural needs and those at risk of harm. My leadership style is practical, values-driven and rooted in empathy.
I founded S.T.Y.L.E. Mentoring in 2023 because I believe that early intervention and genuine, trusted relationships can change the direction of a young person’s life. I lead by example through integrity, clear boundaries, high expectations and consistency. I make decisions confidently in challenging situations, and I do not give up on young people, even when others have.
I have a strong track record of building community partnerships, safeguarding at-risk young people, and empowering staff to deliver high-quality support. I am driven by a belief that disadvantaged young people and vulnerable adults deserve someone in their corner who listens first, acts with compassion and strives for a successful outcome.
